Yunnan Transformer Electric Co., Ltd.(YTEC) was appointed by former Mac hinery
& Industry Ministry to be the professional manufacturer for making of
220kV and lower voltage transformers. After “QiWu”, “BaWu” technical
reformations, YETC has already had produc-tion capacity of transformers with
max. capacity of 240000kVA, max. voltage of 220kV and annual output of
4000000kVA.
To
meet the requirement of market and railway electrification construction and
to strengthen the ability to compete, Yunnan Transformer Electric Co., Ltd.
has had the ability to develop and manufacture traction transformer after 20
years of endeavor since 1979. During these two decades, YTEC insisted on
cooperating with Railway Ministry and universities in the aspect of science
and technology, which made YTEC continuously developed new products and kept
advance and applicability. At present, we have put 6 series of mature
products into market, and others, including 220kV Single-phase Transformer,
are in research period, which can continuously meet different requirements
of Railway Ministry. To April, 2002, YTEC had supplied 468  sets
in 6 series of traction transformers to many railway lines, which occupied
more than 65 per cent of market share in the whole country. For its high
technique, advanced structure and workmanship, superior performance and
reliable operation which can replace some imported similar products, YTEC
was assigned as the domestic main base of researching, exploiting and
manufacturing traction transformer.
